New Pictures

Thanks to another Illien (our adoption agency) family, we received more pictures this week of both Bereket and Eden!!  What a fun surprise!!  This family had their embassy date and brought their new daughter (around 2 yrs old) to the U.S. and now are adjusting to their life with her. 

Here are a few of the picture they took of Eden and Bereket.  Eden is holding the package that we sent over with this family for her.  She is also wearing the sunglasses that we gave her.  I was told that Eden was very shy with them, but at Enat Alem where Bereket is they could not believe how happy and smiley Bereket was!!  Love hearing any details we can get!!

On the adoption front, we did receive good news today.  Our coordinator said that they do NOT have to put an ad out for Bereket's birth mother (remember it was supposedly going to take 2 weeks to just run the ad about her disappearance?!!).  They plan to submit the police letter about her disappearance that is already obtained (thankfully) to the embassy tomorrow!!!!  Then, we wait again and keep our fingers and toes crossed that they will not ask for any more additional information and that they will be quick to review the police letter.  Bottom line: Bereket's case could be cleared next week!!
