Patience

This word patience has been a lot on my mind today.  It is something I strive for more and more and yet I feel, as today, that I am lacking very much of it!!  I want everything to happen TODAY, NOW!!  I want answers, a plan, a time frame.  This adoption is trying more than ever in the patience department, as another day doesn't prove many new answers!!  Frustrated, fatigued, exasperated, yet I will not forget these two little faces that make it all worth it!!

We did find out that the Illien representative in Ethiopia that we hoped could possibly escort Eden to the US talked with embassy today about it and they gave her a resounding, "NO!"  So, guess what?  I am looking into tickets to fly solo to Ethiopia myself to bring Eden home.  I'll keep you posted!!  Another bit of information is that Bereket's birth father is scheduled for a meeting tomorrow in a location where there will be a witness besides Illien's investigator!!  Fingers, toes, and anything else is crossed!!
