Since last week, I have spent much time with our ET coordinator on the phone and by e-mails!! I can only say that we still don't have much information about Bereket's case yet or the precise plan of attack!! However, we were also busy at our house with special visitors and company the end of the week and over the weekend. It was a much needed week of refreshment, especially after the shocking news with Bereket's case. Sunday was an emotional day for me but we received so much encouragement and refreshing. As I laid in bed last night I was thinking of the things that spoke directly to me and I just don't want to forget them!!
Today it was suggested that I compose a letter to embassy about Eden and getting her home, since it seems that the best financial option for us now that Bereket's case has been up-ended would be to have her escorted home if at all possible!! I will let you know more about that as I learn more. Right now we don't even know if it is an option, but it may work out!! I have put together a letter to send to embassy and hope to hear back from them. Interestingly, our agency has e-mailed them about Eden's case and has NOT heard anything back from them, which is unusual since they have been very prompt with us, anyway, as far as getting back to us!! So, we'll see....
I was glad for company this weekend to help cause a little diversion from this adoption madness!! I was not good about taking pictures but I did get a few. Russ and Aleesha and their three kiddos came for the weekend. The guys (and Treva) went on a hunt on Saturday and Aleesha and I were more than happy to just chill at home by the warm fire!!
The cozy fire to go with our chilly fall weather!
Goofy girls: Claire and Clarabella
Such little princesses, oh, and I won't forget the prince(Ty)in the back!!
We picked grapes off our arbor as well as apples and pears for R. & A. to take home with them!!
I told Aleesha to bring some shirts and we would make pumpkin shirts for the kids! Here is Claire and Bella's shirts.
I took these picts after their baths, hence, the great hair and PJ bottoms!!
Love this picture!! Where Aleesha's pumpkin shirt?!! Guess we didn't quite get that many made!!
I made this shirt for Ty. He was home and thought is was pretty cool!
Not a very good picture, but Aleesha wanted me to make one for Nolan with this wording! It was great practice!
