Blackberry Ranch

The blackberries are just coming on in our area.  They are late this year.  When we moved here we decided to call our place blackberry ranch because there were blackberries growing everywhere!!!  While that is amazing to some people, they are actually a pain until the fruit comes on and then we are grateful for the blackberries that did not get taken out.

We have enjoyed having Dale Schultz and Eric Kou in our home.  One thing we have found out is that Eric is up for about anything!!  He rode a horse for his first time this morning at our house!  He was happy to go help the girls pick blackberries for a cobbler.   

Too bad I got Eric with his eyes closed!  Anyway, in one week the blackberries  will be a lot easier to pick when there are more ripe!  Anyone want to come help pick blackberries?!  Eric said the next time they get back to our area they will all be gone!
