It's done!! We are one step closer now and on the home stretch. Our coordinator e-mailed me this morning saying that they filed our case for embassy, but they filed each of the children separately, so that means that they may want / need additional information after reviewing each case, for Eden and Bereket.
Unfortunately, the pattern lately that our coordinator has been seeing is that they are wanting more and more additional information, making it harder and taking longer to file a petition at embassy! There is no time line here, though, people!! They review the cases at their own leisure time. This means that we could be approved right away, in a couple days, or it could take weeks for them to review our cases.
I am keeping my fingers (and my toes) crossed and hoping that things go quickly and smoothly (and also hoping that I don't get cramped fingers / toes!!) Once our case is approved, then we get travel clearance and we start looking into airplane tickets for what is available (and hopefully reasonably priced) and let our coordinator know what dates we want for an embassy appointment.
That is the latest on our adoption front!! Wa - LAAA!!
