Yesterday we knew we needed to have the highest possible production in our tamale assembly line since we were all ready to get the job completed as we are very aware that summer is almost gone! So, we brought in all the kids and this is what we got!
One side of the ping-pong table.
The other side.
The head of the table, which was the starting of the assembly line.
The kids all changed their jobs around to keep things exciting. Here, Rachel, Christen, and Dynna were at the end of the assembly line tying the tamales.
Cyrus and Ira had to try their hand at spreading the polenta, the beginning of the assembly line!
Treva rolled the tamales and Cecil did the second roll.
Even Slade helped out, putting the chicken and an olive in.
Then, Grandma Sherry shows up and declares that she would take her grand kids over any other help any day!! The truth is, they are great help!! When they are all together they can have fun no matter what!! The total count of tamales was close to 900, but I don't remember the exact count!

I also remember eating Aunt Sadie's tamales. It sure does bring back lots of memories and makes me so hungry for a really good home made tamale.
