Tis' the Season

For canning, that is!!  Our fruit trees are loaded this year and I have been seriously wondering how much canning I'll even be able to do.  Our fig tree is so loaded that the branches are hanging clear to the ground.  Too bad we didn't enjoy figs more...
The tomatoes are coming on really well, so I hope to be able to can a lot of tomatoes since we use them a lot!  The girls helped pick the crab apples off our tree so Treva helped me make jelly today!

The jelly turned out very pretty!  It always gives me great satisfaction to add it to our pantry.
