Sunday on the Coast

Sunday Connie and I went for a run together and it was a very nice way to start out the day.  It is so enjoyable to have someone to run with (and talk with of course)!!  We had a very nice, very touching morning meeting at some friends' house there in Eureka.  Nothing like six children's testimonies to soften any meeting, especially in a small group!

We had to hurry back to the motel and load our things up and check out before we were charged $20 for getting out too late!!  We ate seafood for Sunday dinner and it was very good!  Bereket was really tired because he became very chatty and was slouching over in his chair!!  

After saying our "good-byes" we headed home.  I was amazed at how fast both Eden and Bereket were asleep.  We were hardly even out of town and they were both fast asleep!  I was reminded again that anything "new" or out of the ordinary is over stimulating for them.  It made for a nice and peaceful ride home, though!

The car started heating up as soon as we got further away from the coast.  We came back home to upper 90s heat!!  I was ready to get back in the car and to go back to the coast but we were all happy to be home again!!  

Bella was tired too but she held out longer!
