Kohlie

Since our thoughts have been very much on Kohlie and I have been trying to think on the good days we had with her, I thought I would post a couple of videos of Kohlie that were taken after she relapsed in the fall of 2007.  We took a trip back to Iowa to see my Mom and Dad and family after we knew her cancer was back.  This was our wish to be able to get back while she was still feeling good and before we had to start treatment again.  The cancer had came back in her arm, thus the splint but she proved to be a tough cookie and in bright spirits so it was a trip that I will always cherish and hold close to my heart!!  This was taken on the kids' Christmas break (Dec / 2007 - Jan / 2008) and Kohlie would have been 3 1/2 yrs old then.

The Kohlie video of her smile being all gone.

Kohlie playing with her little cousin, Gavyn.  She was being a bit of a pill here but I love seeing her facial expressions and hearing my Aunt Linda laughing in the background!

Kohlie was playing the drums and Uncle Greg was laughing at her!  I love seeing her facial expressions that are just like some of Clarabella's expressions!!

I enjoyed reminiscing about our time then with family and friends when Kohlie was so happy to with her family!!  Even though she was dealing with a lot of pain even then, she proved to my family that she was still a child who loves life even after all she had already faced!!
Gma Irene rocking Kohlie with her
Georgie blanket.

One of my favs.

love this picture of the kiddos with Auntie Crystal!!

Enjoying the snow as a child should!

playing a game with cousin, Lani.

Love this picture because now my Gpa Cliff and Kohlie
are together in eternity.

Kohlie with Alana H who came and helped us when we
were in the hospital with Kohlie.

Yes, we remember your cute smiley little girl! It was maybe right after this trip that you stopped by our place on your way to the hospital. And our girls and Kohlie were having a blast playing with their dolls and strollers together. =)
