Ten years ago I thought I was going to have a baby on Thanksgiving Day! I was so ready by then that I didn't even care if I missed out on the food or festivities. All you mommas out there understand that feeling, I'm sure!! We even made a trip to Medford with steady contractions and through horrible, icy roads that should have brought on the delivery, but it didn't!! We went home again and then finally Katreese decided to make her entrance into this world after all the festivities and luckily Mom was still around!
I always said the third was a charm, because it was truly the only pregnancy and delivery that I experienced without complications. (That is out of five, by the way!)
Katreese was my smallest baby, at 6 Ib. 9 oz. she was easy to deliver!

Precious baby.
Katreese - 10 years old!!
Wow, I find myself saying this more and more! How time flies!! Katreese, I love seeing you grow into such a fine, young girl! The past couple of years you have really grown up. Sometimes I think that losing your sister, Kohlie, was what changed you most! You were so close to your sister Kohlie. Yet, I watch you with other young kids like your sisters Bella and Eden and I really enjoy watching how you patiently deal with them and are so good with them! You are oh, so lucky to hear that you look just like your mom! I would say you favor the Peck side more than any of my other children, which I think is kinda neat!! Katreese, you have always
"kept me on my toes" and I have a feeling that won't change! You definitely are very observant! I hope I can encourage you in making wise choices as you grow older! I still love your sweet personality and you remind me of myself often times in your humor! I look forward to watching you grow up, just not too fast, OK?!!
