There is something so special about this season. A season of new life, as we watch lambs be born (we had that happen at our farm this past week!), plants starting to emerge from the ground that has been barren and desolate for the long winter months, trees budding out with the promise of fruit, that gray colored sky turn bright, and the brown turn to green!!! There are so many lessons in spring. I feel such a deep, desperate need for this change to be happening in my own heart and life. I also love that spring is a season of hope.
This weekend we decided to burn the limbs from the fruit trees (pruned) and the kids were very excited about the prospect of a weenie roast. How is it that these things are so exciting and such a big deal to kids?!
