Heather Withdrawls

We are having Heather withdrawals big time around this house today!!  The Momma is for sure anyway!!  I was remembering when Heather came to our house to help out (a few years ago - smile!!) and she had to learn how we did everything at our house so having her again was so great because she is such a super help!!!!

I took my hike Yesterday up the mountain and was missing Heather's company.  One morning last week, bright and early, we took a hike as the sun was coming up.  I was really wishing I had my camera with me because when we got up to the top of the mountain you could see the layer of fog and it felt like we were on top of the clouds (well, I guess we were!)and in our own universe.  You could hear some traffic from the highway but couldn't see anything! 

So, Yesterday I was appreciating the sunshine (we actually had a couple of hours of wonderful sunshine!!) and the beauty as everything is greening up, not to mention the solace which I always enjoy, especially coming from our rambunctious house!!   Of course, pictures don't do the view justice, especially since the pictures weren't the best quality anyway (taken from my i-phone).

 At least I had a little company - Grouser dog!!  Although, he is sometimes more trouble!!....

 ....like when the jackrabbit jumped out by the pond and I was nearly sailing through the air with Grouser on the leash and leading me (supposed to be the other way around), but I got my feet set again and was able to calm him down!!  He loses his focus so quickly.  It's just hard for him to take a relaxing Sunday hike with me without wanting to go chase something!!  I guess that would be the hound in him!! 

 A sunny day also means a perfect time to go dirt bike riding.  Here is my little boy on his loud dirt bike.  He decided to take his muffler off so he could make more noise!!  (SIGH!!)

 Daddy is so happy that Bereket now loves to ride on the ATVs!!  He was "entertaining" Bereket while I was on my hike!

 Happy Monday.  I'm kinda glad it's closer to being over!!
