Birthday Celebration

When Eden hears talk of Mommy's birthday coming up she asks me, "Mommy, are you going to have a happy birthday?"  I told her, "Yes, of course!"  You see, Eden refers to every birthday as a happy birthday!  She then asked me when her happy birthday is going to be!  So we talked about her birthday coming after mine, and then Bella's birthday after hers!  She is too cute!!  

Yesterday we had birthday lunch with our friend, Aleesha and her daughter, Claire, who is Bella's age!  We had no problem choosing our lunch spot.  Kaleidoscope has been our lunch spot for some time now!!  With all our kiddos tucked into a booth, hungry tummies, excited kiddos, and chatting mothers, who has time for pictures?!!!  No documentation there, but we were pretty busy, not to mention that I was worried that Cade did not get my message that Cyrus was sick at school (flu bug) and needed picked up ASAP so I was calling every 2 seconds until I had confirmation that everything was Okay!  

Cade offered to keep the kids, but it was only possible later in the day and then he asked Eden if she wanted to go with him to work, leaving me with only Bella and Bereket, but Eden knew about my fun plans in town and didn't want to miss out.  Eden is still going to get her special day with Dad at work.

  With Cyrus still getting over his sickness (he is doing good today) and a big fun day in town Yesterday, we are having a low-key day, which is just fine with me by the way.  Cade made breakfast and I have had some phone calls from friends and family, which meant the world to me.  I don't get a lot of "chatting phone time" anymore, so I enjoyed it to the fullest today when my hubby could take over and I could just sit down or go to my room and shut the door!  It is funny how the older you get, the more you just appreciate being with your family and having a relaxing time together!!  The greatest thing of all is knowing that I am loved and appreciated!  It's the simple things, but the deeper and more fulfilling things as well!!
