THANKFULNESS

It's the season for thankfulness.  Some of my friends on facebook have been doing the days of this month with something they are thankful for each day.  While I enjoy reading theirs, I don't participate in that even though I am thankful.  If I start something, it is important to me that I am consistent and finish it, so I find it to be less pressure to NOT be a part of such things! 

Even though this Thanksgiving Break is not as I imagined and hoped for it to be, there are still many things to be thankful for. 

I am thankful that sometimes it is when things do NOT go as planned, predicted, or hoped for that we get more contentment and peace in the Lord.

I am thankful for the ONE who is my strength, who has made it possible that I have endured many hard experiences with a thankful attitude.

I am thankful for my husband who is my rock and my support and I realize that if he has my back that is all the matters!

I am thankful today especially for a friend who truly is a friend and she seems to know when I need a call for encouragement!

I am thankful for my children.  EACH.ONE.OF.THEM!  I am truly blessed and would walk the moon for them!!

I am thankful that I was privileged to be Kohlie's mother and for so many things she taught me in her short life!

I am thankful for my sister!  The time I just had with her reminds me again of how much I truly miss having her close and there is no replacement for a sister!

I am thankful for my family and in-laws.  You don't get to chose your family but you can make the best of the time you have together.

I am thankful for the place I call home.  It gives me great satisfaction and contentment (as well as work - smile!) 

I am thankful for a really great school for my kids to learn and where the teachers truly care and work with us parents!

I am thankful that my husband provides for his family very well!!  We have more than enough for what is sufficient in living life!

I, too, am thankful for my bloggy friends, who have a bit more in depth look into our lives and have given me reason to keep writing....!  It means something to me to know that I have been a help or encouragement to others!
