Lace Boot Socks

Today my professional photographer (aka Bereket Crawford) took a couple of pictures for me.  I have really been loving the lace socks that I have seen that go under your fall boots.  You know what I mean?  Here, I will post a couple of example pictures.





Yes, all things girly I do adore so it should come as no surprise.  Today, when I went to put on my tromp-around-been-around-forever boots, I pulled on some long socks and tried to get a bit of the same effect by just scrunching them down some.  They do have a pattern on them which adds as well.  I have been wanting to get me some cute lace boot socks since I wear boots almost always in the winter, however, it is hard to justify when I have plenty of nice, tall socks...  hmmm, doesn't mean I won't be looking for a great opportunity and a great price!!

So, while it is definitely not as cute as the real deal, it does add a layering look which I like.  The skirt came from Target on a sale deal!  I have to say, though, I debated because they are kinda thin and flimsy feeling for the winter but so comfy and versatile!  I may give this skirt to Treva after I get one wear out of it!! (LOL!) We'll see..
