I made french toast for Cy since that was his choice for breakfast. We had some special time together just the two of us in the morning. When he was headed off for the bus, I asked Cyrus what kind of cake he wanted and he shrugged and then said, "Surprise me!"
I made my first ever red velvet cake from scratch. It was a nice change and since we went to Treva and Katreese's baseball game, we ate cake late at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Once again, I find myself asking, "Where has time gone?!!" Really!!! It's crazy scary sometimes!! Yet, I could not be more proud of Cyrus. This year was such a growing year for him. He proved responsibility in school and has kept almost all A grades!! Believe me, I just am not the type to harp on my kids about their grades either. NEVER HAVE but I have NEVER NEEDED TO, which I couldn't be more grateful for!! Cyrus has grown into his role of being big brother two times over this past year and I think he is so much more empathic with Eden and Bereket!!
