First off, Krista Williams came and spent last week with us because she knows when a worn out mama could use some support. It was so appreciated, encouraging, and helpful, especially when Tuesday rolled around (after a late night from getting home late from a baseball game) and we had to be ON the road by 6:30 for Bereket's dentist appointment in Chico at 10:30. We made good time, thanks to Krista's help and the kids did a great job for such a long trip (there and back). Unfortunately, we are now trying to get Bereket scheduled in the OR to have some teeth pulled. One tooth has a cracked root, the shoved up tooth has a possibility of damaging the permanent teeth if left alone, and another one will be alone so they say it is best to pull it (otherwise it will gravitate to the middle to try to fill the gap). I wanted to cry all the way home!! It is what it is, though, and Bereket will be fine. In fact, he is fine with the teeth like they are. He is eating better than he ever has!!!

We had a busy week and then Katreese had her ballet program on Friday, which they have worked hard for. She really enjoys it. The performed both ballet and tap dance numbers! We are sad that her teacher is retiring though!
