Pictures From Valentines Day

 Yesterday I wanted to have a little extra special day for Eden and Bella since they watched Treva and Katreese make Valentine cards for their classmates and understood that they would be having a party with candy included, of course!  Bella and Eden made their own Valentine cards for the family which was fun and they got in on Treva making heart shaped sugar cookies.  I told them we would try to make it to the school for a short time for their party.  Well, we were expecting the school was still planning to have their party during the after school program, which was perfect because the littles could still get their naps before the party.  Bella was too excited to fall asleep for her nap.  My first mistake was to tell them we would go to the party, but sometimes it is nice to have things to look forward to like that!!  Anyway, after getting to school early (which is no small task, by the way!) we found out that they already had their party at 2:00!!!  I explained to the girls what happened and some very sweet kiddos had given Katreese extra V-Day cards and candy for Eden and Bella so they did get in on some excitement and candy.  Even Bereket enjoyed some sugar cookie.  When his cookie was all gone, he puckered up and put on a pout like nobodies business (he can really get that lip out there!!) so he had to go spend some time in the corner, which is another story!!  

The girls both had a heart in their hair, which they were very proud of!

 Bella had a great morning and then when we went on our usual walk to get the mail, she didn't want to wear her sweater and then she was not very cooperative in taking pictures.  Can you tell?!!

 However, I have to say she cooperated with this picture on our walk back!!  You can't see Eden's hair very well in this picture though!

I just couldn't resist posting this picture of Bereket in the corner!!  How cute he is even from the backside!!  Like I said before, he is 2 years old and he has developed some bad behavioral habits being at the orphanage and one is pouting and pouting and if it didn't go on and on and on, it would be one thing but we grew tired of it really fast!!  We tried time outs in his crib, but since his crib has been a struggle at night for him to be happy there, we decided we didn't want any more negativity associated with the crib.  Amazingly, he responds very well to the corner.  He gets it!!!  He will be unhappy and only seconds later smiling and ready to go play!!
