Katreese's Ballet Program

This year Katreese chose to participate in ballet with her bff, Allison!!  These two girls are so funny together!  Every Thursday we head to Scott Bar for the girls to practice.  This Friday evening they had a dance recital.  I was very impressed with how far Katreese has come in one year!!  She has enjoyed ballet so much!!  In fact, Sandy, their teacher, told everyone at the recital that she was thinking of retiring, but then Allison came along and then when Katreese joined, she knew she couldn't quit because of these girls with their bubbly enthusiasm to learn!!  Sandy has no small job teaching these girls, not to mention some of the other girls who are less enthusiastic to listen to Sandy!

 This was the last dance that was called "Welcome Home" in honor of our troops, thus the army garb!~

They were giving Sandy, their teacher flowers after the program!!  Thanks, Sandy, for giving so much of your time for these girls!!

For now, Katreese is done with ballet.  She is in baseball, so we think one thing at a time is enough.  Next year, she will be anxious to start up again, and Sandy wants Bella to take lessons next year too.  She was trying to get Clarabella to do a dance called the rag doll dance.  Katreese actually taught Bella most of it, but this past week Bella has been sick and I just felt like it would be too much for her to get up in front of everyone.
