Finally we made it on and by that time lunch had come and gone, yet we hadn't even ate lunch! Since when did I worry so much about food? Well, since I had kids and then since I had kids who have insecurities about food and not getting fed. When we got to the wharf we had two things on our list, warmer coats and lunch! We made it to the Rain Forest Cafe, which is like a rain forest and they even have make believe thunderstorms every 15 minutes where the make believe gorillas and animals in the rain forest move, which really freaked Bereket and Eden out at first! We had our first meltdown here at the cafe, in the restroom to be exact. Eden had a majorly infected nail which she hadn't shown me and it was ingrown nail. It was very sore and needed tending to.... Anyway, needless to say, it didn't help things out with Eden's coping skills.
The rest of our day was spent walking in and out of swarms of people, trying to keep track of my kids, and watching people! HA! Close to it, but not exactly! A busy day and lots of memories were had by all....! We went to Sunday meeting there in the city, had lunch together with the Hernstedts, and then settled in for the long ride home, much of which the younger kids slept!
