It's been a very low key week after our last crazy weeks of school, it was needful. My kids have taken crazy long naps, happily complied with morning chores, swam for a short bit in the pool (the water is still pretty cool), and played together so well! It is truly like a breath of fresh air!! The break in not having deadlines, just being able to sit and enjoy, listen and love, watch and observe, take in and soak in.... Eden has turned around completely with this time home and while her coping skills were shot by the end of last week, she has came around and even stepped up to owning and sharing some feelings with me, giving me a fresh appreciation and thankfulness.
