School Spring Program

The day many of the kids had been practicing for and awaiting finally arrived on Friday, their last day of school before our kids' spring break.  Needless to say, once again, Eden was having a hard time with all that was going on but I have to say, I was proud of how she rallied through it!!  I suppose it helped that my mom was and still is visiting (however, that sometimes would make it even more difficult for Eden.)

We (my mom, Lil Bear, and I) arrived at the school for the traditional Easter Egg hunt and you could feel the excitement in the air as soon as you stepped in the school!!!  The kids were all buzzing with anticipation of good things to come...

As per normal at the little school, the older grade kids do the hiding of the eggs and then are also paired with a younger child to help / aide!  It is pretty sweet, especially when two of my kids were paired with our neighbor girls whom we have given many rides to school with and been close to....  Annalee was Treva's best friend and now they are at different schools and who else volunteered to be Lil' Bear's helper (even though he is a preschooler)?  Annalee!!

This group were the first to get all their eggs, which so

In the line to go back in the school before the program.

The play Stone Soup was very cute, put on
by the Kinders and 1st graders.

Nate, TonliLynn's oldest was the soldier who

more of the villagers.

It was a super cute play and a lot of time was put into the backdrop!

Katreese and Allison had the fun job as announcers.

Eden and a couple classmates made a bit of music
 with hand instruments.

The ending choir / whole school (4-8)
Once again, I was wishing I would have gotten more pictures, especially with my mom but she has a way of staying behind the camera if she can!!  It was a fun program and it's neat when you see the kids enjoying themselves!!
