Girl Time

There just is nothing like having time with friends!!  This is something I don't think most guys understand.  I could be totally wrong.  I have explained it numerous times to my hubby and am glad he supports me even though he may not understand!! 

I feel that men don't really need that talk outlet like women do.  I will say, time with girlfriends is something I have found truly fills me, helps me gain perspective (often times that is just gained in stepping away though) and helps me in my place! 

My friend, Aleesha, had a birthday this weekend and I encouraged her to see if she could get away for a weekend and we could stay in Medford together as we have done a few times before!  It proved, once again, to be such an enjoyable time!!  I laughed as we were planning our time together at how many similarities we had in what we were hoping for!!  Maybe we have been good friends long enough to know what each other enjoys?!!

This is what it was:  Overnight stay at a motel (nice and clean but not overly expensive), time to relax over dinner (we both were thinking good seafood), time to relax in the hot tub at the motel, a morning run together (6 miles), lunch together with more friends (we were both thinking either Olive Garden or Kaliediscope), a slow time in town (pedicures) before returning home!!
