MISSING MY BABES!!

Yesterday I heard from the family who we met and had lunch with in Ethiopia. They have returned to their home in Utah with their new daughter, Kabitu! The picture below is their daughter.

I wish I had gotten a picture of them together with Kabitu, but when we met for lunch Kabitu was getting tired and so I did not want to put them out for a picture!!  Anyway, Elaina told me Yesterday that when they went to the orphanage on Thursday that they could tell that Bereket was sad.  One of the nannies told them that he was missing me!!  You can imagine what that did to me!!  Tore my heart apart and I think of all the miles that stand between us and not knowing when I will get back to him.  I am amazed by a mother's love.  I have been through five children and honestly, I just didn't expect to feel so much love this quickly for BOTH of these kids!!  AMAZING!!

I can't wait to hold you in my arms again, sweet Bereket.  There is more comfort when I think of Eden since she is older and we could reason with her about our leaving but I am just as anxious to see her again!!  We are paying for English tutor lessons even though she seems to catch on very quickly and probably doesn't need them.  It is something that we can do for her (for a very small amount of money) while she is waiting.
