Not very often does it work out for just the older girls and I to be together. Well, that is what we did this weekend. We had a party invitation and enjoyed that on Friday evening and then we stayed with our good friends, Phil & Maybell, who used to live down the river close to us. Now they live a bit further away and we miss them!!! Katreese kept checking the time, reporting how late it was getting. I guess I need to get her out more!! (HA!!) She isn't used to being up so late. Anyway, the girls and I thoroughly enjoyed being together and on Saturday we went shopping especially for them. It is kinda hard to get too excited about shopping (even for me, the shopper I am - smile) when I have been on a very tight budget, trying to save $$ anyway I can. The girls really did need some things, so it was a great opportunity.

It was quite a thing to not have to buckle Clarabella in and out of her car seat all day!! I can't believe how fast my girls are growing up!! Way too fast!! I remember fun shopping trips I had with my mom and sister!! I want to cherish every opportunity I have with them. One thing that I thought about and talked about with Maybell is how my stress affects my family. Life is so full of unpredictables, especially lately!! I think I have been feeling guilty lately of letting my stress / tension get to me!!
At the tail end of our shopping day Katreese said to me, "Mom, I'm ready to go see Daddy & Clarabella, & Cyrus now. I don't think I need anything more. Exactly my thoughts!! Then, the fun thing is when I get home, Bella comes running out to me saying, "Mommy, your home!!" and she hugged me and hugged me & kissed me!! Ahhh, home again. That was only one night away too!!
