I think I could count the number of days that it has not rained this month!! Only a very few!! I would be lying if I said the weather is wearing on me, amongst some other things!! This Monday of sunshine has been uplifting. I haven't even spent much time outside, either. Not like I would like. The fact that I designate my Mondays to getting caught up on laundry has a large part to do with that.
I have a few pictures from our weekend. On Saturday the girls needed something to do in the house because of the pouring down rain. This is what they came up with!
They made their tent in the living room and then they begged to sleep in it that night!! They were so excited to sleep in it but neither Treva or Katreese stayed the whole night in their tent!! Clarabella had to sleep in her bed.
Saturday afternoon we got ready to go to Nate's b-day party. While Clarabella was finishing up her lunch I put her hair in cornrows like this for the first time. I think this is how Eden's hair has been put up in the last pictures, except they are full cornrows, all of her head! I thought these turned out pretty cute!
This is how Katreese requested for me to do her hair - a head full of braids. She said, "Pretend that I am Eden!" Cute! I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't do a very good job of parting her hair and getting the braids even, but it turned out fine!
This morning's hair do! Love this because it keeps her front hairs back!! She is not much of a morning girl!
I was sorry that I didn't take pictures of the kids together at Nate's birthday party!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time together with TonyLynn & Trevor, family, & friends!! It was a nice time to get out of the house!! I have not been doing much as I have been trying to stay home and save money on fuel!! This makes it hard because I start feeling cabin fever!!
I will post soon about the adoption. Right now, I am waiting to hear more... Happy Monday!!
