Well, I am writing today for an outlet to just let loose a little bit of the stress / pressure I have been feeling with all these "new changes, documents, post-placement papers (yeah, already!!)" for the adoption. No, everything is fine, really. It just seems like when you think you finally have things "caught up" for the adoption, something else falls on my plate. I realize that I will never be "caught up" with this adoption. There is ALWAYS going to be something, which is life. The day after I sent off our package with our new POA form and new approval form, I got an e-mail with another form that MOWA (The Ministry of Women's Affairs) is now requiring. This means more notarizing, sending to Secretary of State for authentication, & on to D.C., and yep, you guessed it, over to ET to go with our ever-growing dossier. What more could they possibly need / want?!! I will be less stressed when I know that our last package has made it clear to ET. I can track it through FedEx with my tracking numbers.
I have been into Yreka every day so far this week and with extra running around, I start feeling grumpy, out of sorts, and a bit short with my family. Last night I apologized because I have been acting that way and a bit stressed. I am glad that my hubby recognizes that a nice short break would be a great help!! Oh, no, he didn't suggest it!! HA, HA!! I suggested it, but he encouraged it!! I think the weather does not help! It has been yucky, wintry, weather again. We were spoiled by spring - like weather for the last week, at least!! Anyway, I am looking forward to an overnighter and retail therapy (w/ out spending any money - LOL!!) with a great friend who also is needing a break!!
