Field Trip Day

On Friday our power was out all morning so it happened to be very convenient that the helicopter was flying that day around our property, spreading seed mix!! Cade was home and he took the kids to see the helicopter and get to sit in it. Of course, Cade was the extra lucky one to get a ride in it, since he showed the pilot where to spread the grass seed.  The grass seed is intended to help keep the brush down and also great for Cade's dad's cattle in the field.   You can see the hill behind that used to be all great green timber and now is all dead!! It's such a shame and such a change in scenery!!!  

We are finding there are many perks to home schooling!!!
