My Biggest Kid

Call it part to blame on just being a boy, but so many times we have said that Cyrus is our biggest kid in so many ways.  Since he was very small, he was never one to sit still for much time at all, and if he found himself to be in that predicament, there was usually something he could find to tear apart or tear up!!  This Momma would like to think it is his "mechanical side."  He always had to see for himself how everything is put together.

Now, he is 15 years old but we still find this true for him to this day!  He MUST find something or someone to tantalize, take things apart just for the sake of being able to put it back together again (or not).  He humors us with how he gets himself into "situations" just because he is curious.

A predicament he found himself in one Sunday not too long ago went something like this:

The kids' play tunnel looked like something he could fit into!

A live bug!

 Which sounded like a fun way to entertain the kids until he found himself up-close with the camera lens!

And he was in a predicament because he was STUCK, so what could he do but rest a while on the couch and hope the camera would go away?!!

Please, some of you mothers with older big kids, reassure me this is totally normal?!  smile  ...and yes, he would not be happy with me if he found this on my blog!!
