Let's just say that from the turn of events of lately, my heart has been very heavy and discouraged! Maybe I will get into it some time, but I just can't right now! I don't want to put any more energy into it!! I've been quiet here on my blog.
The line of our hymn has been going through my mind this week: "When pained is thine heart and the clouds hang low, When weary thy faltering feet, When tear-dimmed thine eyes as the seed you sow, and all thou canst see is defeat, Just cling to the hand of God's dear Son, No matter where he leads, and mark the path till the journey's done, with pure and Christ-like deeds."
Along that line of thought of sowing, our bible study this week Lk 6:43 - "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit." There has been comfort and encouragement brought to me by these verses.
We have had a sick house this week which is never convenient but has been a great opportunity to hold my kids a little closer...

Hugs your way.....
Hang in there.
I am sorry your heart is heavy and your days difficult. Praying that things will get better and that the bumps will smooth out in time.
Thinking of you all.. No fun having sick kids on top of everything else! I just always try and tell myself, "it could be worse." Hard to imagine right now but hope things get better for you all.
Angela think of you a lot. There is a beautiful Hymn that has meant a whole lot to me the past couple of years. #349 "Somewhere behind the clouds is One who cares for me. Keep looking up to the Rock that is higher than we are. Good days ahead. Janie
