Part 3 Kauai

We were warned about chickens being everywhere!  They made their presence known especially in the morning but it never bothered me!  It was kinda neat, like being back on the farm!  They were on the highways, in the Walmart parking lot, just everywhere!  We were told that the chickens got out in the last hurricane and then they went wild and kept producing, of course!  I loved the tropical flowers, especially the gardenias because they are so fragrant.  I kept one on my beside table.  We had some very windy days after arriving in Kauai and the weather was also cooler on those first days.  Cade and I especially enjoyed eating out and we ate a lot of seafood and I enjoyed every single bite!!  It was such a treat.  We also made it to a local farmers market where we bought apple bananas, (they are so yummy)papayas, and an avocado!  There is nothing like the sound of the ocean and sun (good ol' vitamin D)for pure relaxation!
