Our week leading up to the weekend was busy. Our momma ewe died and left her lamb for us to take care of (at 5 days old) and preparations were under way for our weekend company, Cyrus had a football game on Friday night (he got played a lot, so he was pretty happy!), company and time talking with friends, midnight feedings for the lamb, early morning run (due to my marathon training), a birthday party on Saturday, preparations for a very special meeting for around 40 people at our house on Sunday, potluck afterwards, talking with friends, NAPS, and a Labor Day hike in the mountains for our extra long weekend (Monday.) That is the short of it anyway!
