Halloween

Yeah, it was the dreaded Halloween in my mind....  I do enjoy seeing people dress up and have fun with it but really, I don't have much time for this holiday (??)!  Katreese worked extra hard with her schoolwork so she could spend Friday with her cousin, Julia, and they wanted to be conjoined twins!!  

I didn't have any special plans for the younger kids.  I had a couple things in mind but they weren't working out, which was fine!!  Really, we have learned to modify and down play most holidays / parties to help Eden cope and we are reaping the benefits!!!

Cade brought pizza home (which was a very special treat) and the little kids dressed up and had fun with that and then they Cade took them trick-or-treating in our neighborhood which was kinda a joke, but worked perfect (little candy and a car ride!)!  

No matter, Eden still had a hard day on Friday.  It seems there are some things that just send off triggers and now Halloween (her knowing it has always meant some sort of party / celebration in the past) is the same.  For her, it is the anxiety that seems to consume her, even if she is trying her best to get rid of it or even if she knows she shouldn't be worried!!
