Yesterday was the big day!! Treva had her eighth grade graduation at 4pm and then we had a reception / party for her at our place. There were many preparations made for the day and the thing that matter most was that Treva was happy and had fun! She had a very special day!

 |
So, here it is after we were all sweaty, Treva had changed and
I was ready to be sleeping! |
When you have 13 year old girls who are graduating, you have to expect that the day is going to be emotional and interesting!! It sure was. The graduation was so emotional, especially for Treva and Annalee who are now going separate ways, one to Happy Camp High and the other to Yreka High. It was special, though, and that is what I love about the small schools!! Treva IS going to miss so much about Seiad. I woke up this morning with a bit of sadness as reality sinks in. I have had many of the staff/teachers at Seiad tell me how much they are going to miss Treva there. She is just such a leader / helper and she really enjoyed her last year there!!
