Smiling Boy

I have been a little taken back by some feedback that I have received lately about my blog!!  I just did not expect it, I guess!!  So, I'll do the little I can do as time allows and what I enjoy doing!

Today I received a message from a fellow Illien family who is in the process of adopting their little girl from the same orphanage that Bereket is at!!  I won't forget her little girl, either!!  She was an absolute chunky little doll!!!  Anyway, she told me she had something to send me that would make me smile!!  Smile, indeed, I did, and then cried...or almost!!

 She told me that Bereket has one of the most contagious, happy personalities she has ever seen on a child.  She told about a game they played together which sounded much like hide and seek.  She said that you couldn't help but look at him because of his infectious smile and he is so cute and happy!!  J also wrote that he is getting potty trained, which I may add that I don't know how effectual the potty training is because of what we witnessed in June, but he may be getting old enough where it is sticking now!  Anyway, it warmed my heart and made me miss him even more - if that is possible!!

Lastly, the laugh of our day, Eden thought Mommy's socks where, oh, so funny!!!  I told her they are my "happy socks!"
