The Rainbow

We made it to our church convention. The very first evening upon arriving, it was pouring rain from a thunderstorm. Afterwards the kids and I were standing outside a building and there in the sky was a beautiful, perfect rainbow. We could see the whole thing, brightly lit against the blue sky! We all stood in awe of the beauty of it.

That is truly what our convention signified to me. Sunshine after the storms, hope in the future for a brighter, clearer day!! I am so grateful that words cannot begin to express the feeling in my heart from our convention and the encouragement and hope that has been lit again in my heart. "Just continue on..... God never meant for the journey to be walked alone... He is the solution.....We can wait in the presence of God with the assurance that he WILL give us what we NEED.......God is able to change the situation to make us rejoicing......Our countenance is more fluent than our language will ever be.....Living minute by minute and hour by hour so we have fewer regrets..... Just trust God and be okay with not understanding..... There is far more for us than against us... It's not what we're going through but what we're going to... Fear causes us to doubt..... Today is our day.... Love will inspire the highest choice.... Love is very self-forgetting..... Love brings a sweet savor to our service... Everything that is of value is because there has to be a falling and rising again.... It's the joy of the Lord that enlarges the vessel......God has never allowed his people to be overtaken by something that you aren't able to overcome....It's when we strive that we find there is strength available.....We don't want to hold tension but move on to resolution....There is a lot of wrong in this world but it is our privilege to do what is right and be right because right will always conquer...." These are just a few of the words that were spoken that stood out to me!!
