Changes
We received 2 letters Yesterday from our agency stating many changes that are taking place. It means that we have to sign, notorize, & authenticate a new Power of Attorney letter & our I-171H Form letter (which was not required to be a part of our dossier, but now ET is changing that). Also, we are being urged to prepare for delays in the final stage of the adoption process. All agencies are being asked by the US Embassy to investigate background information on each child before the are referred, which means that someone from Illien's staff has to personally go to ET & talk to parties involved! I suspect this is because of crooked orphanges & possibly crooked agencies to make sure these children are truly orphans. Any changes are unsettling, to say the least, but around the dinner table last night we were talking about it. We are urging the kids (& ourselves) to prepare for a longer wait & if it happens sooner, all the better. Once again, I am so glad that I can rest in knowing that if this is truly meant to be, then it will happen when it should happen.

Oh, the paper chase can be exhausting and difficult to keep up with (especially with things changing). Good thing you just go one step at a time (and it doesn't completely end when you get home, either). Such a unique journey, but it will be worth the wait.
