Bereket just had another 3 days of infusions once again in Sacramento at UC Davis. I am very pleased at how he is doing with the whole hospital scene and just in general, really. I am always reminded at how beneficial the time is for both him and I since we are pretty much confined to a room or space for at least four hours!!! It does him so much good to have this one-on-one time with me.
Cyrus has been working for a rock crushing company in our close town of Yreka but they travel around and he has been in Sacramento lately so it was special to have some time with him while we were down there for infusions with family. Cade also accompanied us, which was special but somewhat of a disappointment to not have more time with him. I know, that probably sounds ungrateful but it was more of where I had set my expectations.... He had a job he went and looked at down there which took most all of one day and then on the last day of Bereket's infusion he went to Cyrus' job which I wouldn't have changed one bit!! I was very happy he could do that!
Needless to say, I have been on the short end of patience and the high end of anxiety lately.... I don't like it one bit!! I feel guilty for it and selfish when it comes to me demanding to have time away, for myself.... I know some of you mothers understand, especially the ones that are parenting and trying to love RAD kids!!!
I guess that takes me to my next post!!!:)
