I want to be completely truthful!! I suppose I have been kinda avoiding blogging because I don't know what / how to say to you all what we have been dealing with here in our house concerning E not to mention all the craziness that has kept me from sitting down!! Yet, I feel compelled and have the desire to recap a bit but don't know how far I will get in one day. Please be patient with me and if you all really want to understand some of our happenings, then please be open and kind!!!!
First off, the big day for my big guy and his cousin, Ira, whom we have been so fortunate to get to know this year in having him living up here and going to school with Cyrus and Treva!!! We truly are thankful for his parents kindness in sharing him!!! I know it hasn't been easy for them and have often times felt guilty when we were able to share things with him and his family was not able to share it!! I can't say enough about this young man and the help and calmness his presence has brought into our house!!
Saturday was the big day!! One day was senior ditch day and Cyrus, Ira, and Kara (Cyrus' girlfriend) all came down river and ended up napping the afternoon away!! It was quite funny, but I think it was much needed!!! I picked up my mom and dad and Grandma late on Monday evening so it was very special having them here for the week!! I enjoyed so very much the extra help!!!
Saturday was an emotional day for this Momma!!! Cyrus told me I was not to cry so I held it together until after the ceremony and was in the car..... WHEW! Cyrus and Ira walked in together... that was super special!! Ira got a bee sting the night before the graduation so he had one swollen eye! UGH!
We had a couple hours after the morning graduation to get things together for the 4:30 reception! That was nice to have some time to regather!! (yes, that is now a word!!)
