Spring Break

I always have too much on my mind and too little time to write, so I tend to put my blog posts off but I will try....

It has been a different kind of a week with the kids' spring break.  Most of all I am thankful for the break....

We had a special meeting concerning adoption and Eden and trying to get a few more tools in our tool box before we are exhausting all our options with her... That was very nice!  I made reservations before and we had one night there at a very nice motel and some time at the ocean and time talking!  All was good concerning we only had  limited amount of time!! 

Eden's birthday was Thursday!  She is ten year old!!  WOW~ How did that happen so fast?  Well, it did!  We kept it low-key with a fun cake and just a few people celebrating!  It was perfect for her!

This weekend brought an opportunity for me to attend an adoption conference.  It is called the Empowered to Connect conference which is headed by Dr. Karyn Purvis, whom I am such a big fan of!!  I am even more in awe of her after seeing her live podcast, watching her interact with these kids from hard places!!  Wow, my head and heart are full and the best feeling ever, full of hope!!  Just what I needed!!  Tomorrow will be the second and final day of the conference!!  Thankful for these resources!!!
